Parenting is hard. For parents who are atypical learners, parenting can be even harder. Connections has 29 years of experience supporting parents with cognitive challenges (developmental disability, brain injury or Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder) with proven-successful services:

Connections provides in-home support to teach parenting skills, and home management strategies so parents are successful.

Connections also has a Financial Coach who works along side the In-Home Team to help families maintain a stable home.

Counselling services are offered to individuals and families receiving in-home support. Sometimes past abuse or other issues get in the way of healthy parenting and stable families.

Family and group programs counter the effects of isolation and provide information and skills for a range of parenting and life-skills topics.
