IT SUPPORT and INFORMATION MANAGEMENT

$18 per hour  ✜  9 weeks ✜  32 hrs. per week

Connections is a non profit agency in the disability sector, supporting families in which a parent has cognitive challenges. As a 27-year-old agency, we have supported hundreds of families and have thousands of documents to prove it. As we’ve evolved and grown, our information management has not kept pace. It is time for a major overhaul of our digital information. As well, we are in the process of upgrading some systems to more current apps and software. Projects will include supporting these improvements by researching the apps and tools, and then training to help the team adapt to new systems.

This role will take a lead in supporting the development of information management protocol and systems, re-organizing existing digital information, updating and improving forms in Excel, and a myriad of smaller projects that will improve our systems and efficiency.

Education and experience required in IT or information management skill areas. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and the critical and creative thinking to solve issues in a way that works for our organization and team.
